Etna (Sicilia-Italia)

Der Ätna, als einer der aktivsten Vulkane Europas, lässt sich bequem vom Rifugio Sapienza aus erkunden. Auf dieser 1900m hoch gelegenen Talstation der Seilbahn auf den Ätna kann man mehrere Nebenkrater des Vulkans zu Fuß erkunden.
Mount Etna, one of the most active volcanoes in Europe, can be easily explored from the Rifugio Sapienza. On this 1900m high valley station of the cable car to Mount Etna one can explore several secondary craters of the volcano by foot.

Pompeji (Italia)

Der Besuch der Ausgrabungen der vor fast 2000 Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch untergeangenen Stadt Pompeji ist wirklich sehr lohnenswert. Nach und nach wurden und werden viele Gebäude und Plätze rekonstruiert. Bis heute drohnt der Vulkan Vesuv bedrohlich über der Region.
The visit of the excavations of the city of Pompeii, which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption almost 2000 years ago, is really worthwhile. By and by, many buildings and squares were reconstructed. Until today the volcano Vesuvius threatens menacingly over the region.

Ponte di Rialto - Rialtobrücke (Venezia - Italia)

Venedig hat tausende von Brücken. Eine besonders schöne davon ist die Rialtobrücke über den Canale Grande. Momentan wird sie von einer Seite renoviert, so dass nur einseitig der Blick frei ist. Sie verbindet San Marco mit San Polo. Ein Foto ohne Menschen gelingt leider nicht, da jeder einmal über die Brücke gehen möchte.
Venice has thousands of bridges. A particularly beautiful of these is the Rialto Bridge over the Canale Grande. Currently it is renovated from one side, so that onlyone side of the view is possible. It connects San Marco with San Polo. Unfortunately, a photo without people do not succeed, because everybody wants to go over the bridge.

Portofino (Liguria - Italia)

Zwischen zwei Tauchgängen im Marinepark von Portofino gingen wir im Hafen von Portofino an Land und betrachteten die schöne Lage, die malerischen Häuser und die Menschen, die sich im Hafen tummelten. Portofino ist ein kleines Städtchen, so wie man es sich an der Riviera vorstellt: wunderschön in die Landschaft gebettet mit netten Plätzen, azurblauem Meer und viel ligurischem Flair.
During two dives in the Marine Park of Portofino we went in the harbor of Portofino  and looked at the beautiful location, the picturesque houses and the people who were in the harbor. Portofino is a small town typical for the Riviera: beautifully embedded in the landscape with nice places, azure sea and much Ligurian flair.

Tauchen im Marine Park von Portofino (Liguria - Italia)

Im Naturschutzpark von Portofino kann man besonders reizvolle Tauchgänge machen. Auch wenn das Wasser jetzt im Mai noch ein wenig kalt und die Sicht (wegen der zuvor rauhen See) nicht ideal war erlebten wir am Tauchplatz "Altare"  die einzigartige Tier- und Pflanzenwelt des Mittelmeers, die hier ihre volle Pracht entfaltet.
In Natural Park of Portofino you can make particularly attractive dives. Although the water in May is  still a little bit cold and the view (because of the previously rough sea) was not ideal we experienced at the dive site "altars" the unique flora and fauna of the Mediterranean, which unfolds its full splendor here.
