Pompeji (Italia)

Der Besuch der Ausgrabungen der vor fast 2000 Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch untergeangenen Stadt Pompeji ist wirklich sehr lohnenswert. Nach und nach wurden und werden viele Gebäude und Plätze rekonstruiert. Bis heute drohnt der Vulkan Vesuv bedrohlich über der Region.
The visit of the excavations of the city of Pompeii, which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption almost 2000 years ago, is really worthwhile. By and by, many buildings and squares were reconstructed. Until today the volcano Vesuvius threatens menacingly over the region.

Insel Mainau (Bodensee- Lake Constance)

Im Frühling ist die Blumeninsel Mainau im Bodensee ein wundervolles Ausflugsziel. Dank der milden Temperaturen wachsen dort sogar mediterane Pflanzen. Außerdem sind viele exotische Pflanzen und Tiere im Orchideenhaus und im Schmetterlingshaus zu sehen.
In spring, the flower island of Mainau is a wonderful destination in the Lake Constance. Thanks to the mild temperatures there are even growing Mediterranean plants. In addition, many exotic plants and animals can be seen in the orchid house and butterfly house.

Tulip Museum (Amsterdam - Netherlands)

Bei unserem Wochenendtrip nach Amsterdam haben wir auch das Tulpen Museum besucht. Eine Ausstellung, die nur dieser wunderschönen Frühlingsblume gewidmet ist und wo anders gibt es denn die schönsten Tulpen als in Amsterdam.
During our weekend trip to Amsterdam, we also visited the Tulip Museum. An exhibition dedicated to just this beautiful spring flower and where else than in Amsterdam exist the most beautiful tulips. 

 

L' Acquario di Genova

Bei unserem Kurztrip nach Ligurien haben wir unter anderem auch das großartige Aquarium von Genua besucht. Neben vielen Fischen gibt es hier auch Pflanzen, Vögel und Insekten zu beobachten. Das Gebäude ist wie ein Schiff im Hafen von Genua platziert. 
During our short trip to Liguria we visited among others the great Aquarium of Genoa. In addition to many fish there can also plants, birds and insects being observed. The building is placed like a ship in the port of Genova. 

 Dieses alte Boot fanden wir im Hafen direkt vor dem Aquarium.

Haus des Meeres (House of the Sea) (Wien- Vienna)

Bei unserem Kurztrip nach Wien durfte natürlich ein Besuch des Haus des Meeres nicht fehlen. Neben sehr vielen verschiedenen Fischen gibt es hier auch Haie und andere Unterwassertiere. Außerdem können auch verschiedene Reptilien, Affen, Vögel und Insekten beobachtet werden. Ein wirklich sehr schöner Zoo mitten in Wien.
During our short trip to Vienna of course we could not miss a visit of the house of the sea. There are   many fish, sharks and other marine animals here. In addition, various reptiles, monkeys, birds, and insects can be observed. A really lovely zoo in the middle of Vienna.

Europa Park

An manchen Tagen macht es auch als Erwachsener Spaß sich im Freizeitpark zu vergnügen. Als Begleitung von Jugendlichen konnten wir den Tag im Park genießen. Dieser Freizeitpark ist sehr schön angelegt und in verschiedenen Themenparks und Regionen/Länder Europas aufgeteilt. Außerdem gibt es im Park natürlich auch sehr spektakuläre Achterbahnen und Fahrgeschäfte wie z.B. den Silver Star.
On some days it's fun for me as an adult visiting an amusement park. As a comanion of young people, we could enjoy the day at the park. This theme park is very well laid out and divided into different theme parks and regions / countries in Europe. There are of course also very spectacular  rides such as the Silver Star.

Im Europa Park gibt es auch einen See, der zum Europa Abenteuerland gehört.
In the Europa Park exists also a lake that is part of Europe Adventure Land.

Im Hintergrund sieht man die neueste Attraktion, die Holzachterbahn "Wodan" im Themenbereich Island.
In the background there is the newest attraction, the wooden coaster "Wodan" in the subject area Iceland.

Im Themenbereich Österreich findet sich dieser nette Pilz. 
In the subject area Austria there is this cute mushroom.

Reichlich nass wird man beim Fjord-Rafting.
You could get wet, when you are rafting.
