Alghero - Sardinia (Italy)
Alghero is situated in the northwest of Sardinia. It was founded in the 11th Century by the Genoese. 300 years later the Catalans conquered the town of Alghero and developed the fortress. Until today the influence of the Catalans is visible. The streets and the places often wear Catalan name and the Catalan flag is everywhere present.

did u like Alghero, I have stopped there only once (for 7 times in sardinia in total), have the same picture as our last one:-)))
