Diving around Krk (Croatia)

Diving in the sea around Krk is always a pleasure. There are so many different dive spots. With the divecenter "Divesport Krk" these highlights can be received for example by the speedboat. The island Plavnik is offshore the coast of Krk with lots of very nice dive spots. One of these is for example "Mali Plavnik" with a very pretty wall.

"Krucija" with its "love cave" and a lots of fishes is also near Plavnik.

There are also some shore dives like this in "Sv. Marak".
If you are lucky this beautiful snail will cross your way.

One of the most beautiful walls can be seen in "Selzine" near the island Cres. Thousands of corals and sponches can be viewed on a depth of 30 to 35 meters and furthermore sometimes a very beautiful specimen of scorpion fish like this.

"Kormati" (known as bird island) is also a spectacular place for divers and for crabs;-)

Many wrecks can be seen around Krk like this small one near Plavnik. The speedboat was shot by the police in the 1980ies, because there were some smugglers on board. So today this place is called "Mafia Bay".

City of Krk (Croatia)

Krk is the most important city of the island Krk. It is one of the oldest holiday resorts on the Adriatic Sea. With the historical city Krk is a magnet for tourists from all over the world. Walking through the old alleyways or dander along the harbor is a must in Krk. There are also lots of possibilities for shopping and of course you have a excellent choice of many restaurants with Croatian and fish gastronomic specialities.

"Bavaria Filmstadt" in Munich

Many movies and "tv soaps" have their origin in munich at the "Bavaria Filmstadt". During a guidance of 1 1/2 hour the scenery can be visited and even sometimes tested.

For example the characters of the "Neverending Story", like "Fuchur".

Furthermore the scenery of the movie "Das Boot" can be visited.

Of course there are also facades of  "movietowns".

This special "treehouse" was built for "Asterix and Obelix".

The scenery of "Wickie" should not be missed. Not only the boat of the vikings is an attraction, there are furthermore some houses of "Flake" and from the brand-new movie "Wickie 2".

Munich: "Schloss Nymphenburg"

"Schloss Nymphemburg" is one of the famous european royal palaces. It was built in the 17. century for elector Ferdinand Maria as a present for his wife Adelheid von Savoyen.

Around the castle there is a huge park with several lagoons and their "inhabitants".

Exhibition "Slow food" in Stuttgart

"Slow food" means going back to the beginning of eating, back to flavour and enjoyment of food. A lot of exhibitors present in Stuttgart their way to enjoy the eatables.

Of course there is also the possibility to test some very different species of beer, for example the
"Kartoffelbier" (potatobeer).

At this "very long table" the visitors are able to eat and talk and....

Dive experience at "Badesee Dietenheim" (near Ulm)

Opening the dive season in Germany it is better to take a shallow water, because it could be very cold after the winter. This lake near Dietenheim is very adequate to do the first dives in the year. In the summertime the water is used as a swimming lake.

The visibility is not comparable to the sea, but it is one of the lakes with many very nice plants.

Furthermore there are existing a lot of fishes like this pickerel....

... and this very big about 80 cm long carp.
