Oslo in december

The City of Oslo is well worth seeing, even in december.
Radhuset: City Hall of Oslo. Known because of the yearly award of the Nobel Peace Price.
The "Frammuseet" is dedicaded to Fridtjof Nansen, Roald Amundsen and Otto Sverdrup. The star turn is the ship "Fram" which was designed for the polar expedition of Nansen in 1892.
In the "Kon-Tiki museet" you can see the papyrusboat "Ra II".
Winter atmosphere in "Oslo Fjord":
A funny "Troll" seen in Oslos "Karl Johans gate":
On these days in december one of the best popgroups of the world said goodbye with their last concerts.
For this reason the nasjonalbiblioteket showed an exhibition in honour of a-ha:

Diving in Krk

In Croatia there are a lot of very nice divespots. One of the bests are on the island Krk.
Living in Kornic near Punat and diving with divesport Krk is one of the best possibilities for diving in Krk.
On the east coast of Krk there is the possibility to dive to the Peltastis, a very spectacular wreck.

This scorpion fish was seen near Mali Plavnik.

Calvi and Balagne "Vue du ciel"

The region Balagne with the city of Calvi is situated in the northwest of Corsica.
A sightseeing flight in this region is very profitable, because this is one of the most beautiful regions of Corsica.
There is for example the picturesque village Sant'Antonino:

On the seaside east of Calvi exists the peninsula "La Revellata" with its lighthouse. By the way a very nice place to dive:

The city of Calvi with its very old and nice citadel is really a piece of jewellery in the Mediteranian:

Diving in "Merouville"

The dive side "merouville" is situated between Corsica and Sardinia next to the Lavezzi islands.

On this place you can find a lots of groupers. They are very docile and curious.

In a depth of 30 meters there are nearly 30 to 40 groupers, some of them are bigger than 1 meter.

After the trip the divers have to wait some minutes in 3 or 6 meters to do their decompression.

The city of Bonifacio is situated in the south of Corsica. It looks very spectacular build on the cliffs.

For visiting upper town of Bonifacio you have to climb a lot of stairs, but you will get fantastics views, for example the cliff called "grain de sable":

The legend says that this stair (called "escalier du roi d' Aragon") was built in one night:

The old upper town of Bonifacio looks very nice with the small alleyways.

Skiing at Nesselwang (Allgäu)

The ski area Alpspitzbahn near Nesselwang is not really big, but on sunny days like these with powder snow and a bombastic view to the foothills it is fun to ride down the hills.

"Dolphin-watching" with the "Tzigane" in Guadeloupe

Actually the reason for our trip to the Carribean sea from Pigeon with the sailing boat "Tzigane" was watching whales. For sorrow we saw no whales, but we had a really spectacular experience with dolphins. About 100 dolphins swam in the bow waveof the boat for nearly 20 minutes. Wachting them we heard them breathing out and sinking down or coming up. We were really lucky seeing and observing these wunderful animals in their natural environment...

On the boat they showed us a tooth of a sperm whale.

... and then the adventure wit the dolphins began...
