Skiing at Nesselwang (Allgäu)

The ski area Alpspitzbahn near Nesselwang is not really big, but on sunny days like these with powder snow and a bombastic view to the foothills it is fun to ride down the hills.

"Dolphin-watching" with the "Tzigane" in Guadeloupe

Actually the reason for our trip to the Carribean sea from Pigeon with the sailing boat "Tzigane" was watching whales. For sorrow we saw no whales, but we had a really spectacular experience with dolphins. About 100 dolphins swam in the bow waveof the boat for nearly 20 minutes. Wachting them we heard them breathing out and sinking down or coming up. We were really lucky seeing and observing these wunderful animals in their natural environment...

On the boat they showed us a tooth of a sperm whale.

... and then the adventure wit the dolphins began...

Domaine de la Grivelère (Guadeloupe)

"La domaine de la Grivelère" in the center of Bass-Terre in Guadeloupe gives his visitors an insight to the former production of coffee. The spiny squat lobster and the various types of scorpion-fishes are very spoecialized in Camouflage. Above all the scorpion-fishes are really excellent in adaptation the environment. That is their tactics for heaving a meal, waiting until the meal is swimming by.

Danube Valley (Baden-Wurttemberg)

The upper Danube Valley is one of the most beautiful river landscape of Germany. Here the Danube is a very small river which is embedded in the wonderful countryside of the "Swabian Alb". A very good place for hiking, cycling and canoeing.

Lac de Creno (Corse)

The "Lac de Creno" is situated nearly in the center of Corsica near Soccia. This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Corsica. Upon reaching the lake you feel like you are displaced in a fairy tale. The Laricio pines around the lake and the lilys on the lake makes a very warm, peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. So the exhasuting rise is immediately forgot and the place invites you to stay....

The donkeys can be rented for riding to the lake and the pigs are looking for something to eat between the numerous tourists.

Ajaccio - Corse

Ajaccio is the Capital of the South of Corse. Of course this town is kown because it is the native town of Napoleon Bonaparte. If you are doing a walk throug Ajaccio you will have all around notes and memoirs to Napoleon Bonaparte. For example the "Maison Bonaparte" (his birthplace) or the statue of him at the "Place du Maréchal-Foch". But this should not be the only reason to visit this beautiful town.
