Every year in September Stuttgart celebrates the "Cannstatter Volksfest". Beholding the dimension it is to compare with the Oktoberfest in Munich with less "beer tents" and more fun rides, but this event has really his own charm and history. In 1818 the first "Volksfest" started as an agricultural celebration. Until today the "Fruchtsäule" remember to this origin.
Nowadays the "Cannstatter Volksfest" is one of the world´s biggest fun fair park.
The typical sweets should not be missed being tasted.

Castles tour across the swabian alb
In perfect summer weather we made a flight across the swabian alb. Our depart began from a small green field airport.
This day the air was very calm, clear and the view was wonderfull.
We flew along the edge of the Swabian Alb over forests, meadows and a lot of small towns. In the north the visibility was endless and in the south we could see the alps.
The Swabian Alb is one of the regions with the most castles in Germany. More than 100 castles perched on mountain cones, stuck on ledges or stand on wooded valley borders. Here are two of them:
Castle of Lichtenstein
and the castle of Hohenzollern:

Un village en Balagne: Montemaggiore (Corsica)
Montemaggiore is one of these very beautiful and picturesque villages in the Balagne, the area in the north west of Corsica. The view to the bay of Calvi is really inimitable. If you are having a walk around in Montemaggiore you will discover very nice places, alleyways and sometimes places to stay for having "sieste".
