Lichtenstein: a fairy tale castle

Like in fairy tales the castle Lichtenstein near Reutlingen (Germany) is situated on a abrupt cliff above a valley. The castle was built 1840 to 1842 for Wilhelm Count of Wurttemberg. He needed some "loading space" for his collections of paintings, armaments and arms. The panoramic view from the rock down to the valley is fabulous. Reflecting the fairy tales this castle is really a perfect place for the queens, kings, princes and princesses of these narrations....
