Lugano (Ticino, Switzerland)

Situated at the lake Lugano is really a very nice town with beautiful old houses and a lovely promenade. During our way home from Italy we stopped there to have a walk and eat something. Lugano was enclosed a little bit to the fog but with wonderful views today.

Like many tourist towns Lugano has a "train" for carrying the people via the town.

Due to the balmy climate in the south of the Alps palms can be seen in this region.
