Nudibranches (Fadenschnecken)

In the waters of the Mediterranean around the Lavezzi islands, there are many kinds of Nudibranches. To find them you have to dive very carefully as they are sometimes only millimeters in size. They usually sit on Eudendrium, sway in the flow, look very fragile and unfold its true color variety. To really get sharp photos that bring their beauty to express, you have to be very patient and make lots of them...

  1. they are such an eyecatchers! but indeed one first needs to find/see them....breathtaking colours! we were told that they love cold water, is this true?
