Der Ätna, als einer der aktivsten Vulkane Europas, lässt sich bequem vom Rifugio Sapienza aus erkunden. Auf dieser 1900m hoch gelegenen Talstation der Seilbahn auf den Ätna kann man mehrere Nebenkrater des Vulkans zu Fuß erkunden.

Der Besuch der Ausgrabungen der vor fast 2000 Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch untergeangenen Stadt Pompeji ist wirklich sehr lohnenswert. Nach und nach wurden und werden viele Gebäude und Plätze rekonstruiert. Bis heute drohnt der Vulkan Vesuv bedrohlich über der Region.

eruption almost 2000 years ago, is really worthwhile. By and by, many buildings and squares were reconstructed. Until today the volcano Vesuvius threatens menacingly over the region.

Venedig hat tausende von Brücken. Eine besonders schöne davon ist die Rialtobrücke über den Canale Grande. Momentan wird sie von einer Seite renoviert, so dass nur einseitig der Blick frei ist. Sie verbindet San Marco mit San Polo. Ein Foto ohne Menschen gelingt leider nicht, da jeder einmal über die Brücke gehen möchte.
Venice has thousands of bridges. A particularly beautiful of these is the Rialto Bridge over the Canale Grande. Currently it is renovated from one side, so that onlyone side of the view is possible. It connects San Marco with San Polo. Unfortunately, a photo without people do not succeed, because everybody wants to go over the bridge.
Die Wanderung im einzigartigen Restonicatal von der Bergerie de Grutelle zum "Lac de Melu" und "Lac de Capitellu" kann wahrlich als eine der schönsten der Insel bezeichnet werden. Beide Seen liegen zauberhaft eingebettet in die Landschaft. Dabei ist der "Lac de Capitellu" (Seehöhe 1930 m) mit 42 m der tiefste See Korsikas und auch ziemlich kalt. Während der gesamten Wanderung gibt es jeden Moment traumhafte Ausblicke.
The hike in unique valley of Restonica from the Bergerie de Grutelle to the lakes "Lac de Melu" and "Capitellu" can truly be called one of the best on the island. Both lakes are embedded in enchanting landscape. The "Capitellu" (altitude 1930m) is with 42 m the deepest lake in Corsica and also quite cold. Throughout the walk you have every moment dreamy views.
