Der Besuch der Ausgrabungen der vor fast 2000 Jahren durch einen Vulkanausbruch untergeangenen Stadt Pompeji ist wirklich sehr lohnenswert. Nach und nach wurden und werden viele Gebäude und Plätze rekonstruiert. Bis heute drohnt der Vulkan Vesuv bedrohlich über der Region.
The visit of the excavations of the city of Pompeii, which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption almost 2000 years ago, is really worthwhile. By and by, many buildings and squares were reconstructed. Until today the volcano Vesuvius threatens menacingly over the region.
