Trip to the North Cape - Part I: Tromso - Alta

This first part of the journey to the North Cape is a trip about 300 km excluding the two ferrys which have to be taken to pass two fjords. It is a trip through a spectatcular landscape with fantastic mountains, a lot of water and very nice bays. The following pictures show only an extract of this breathtaking beautiful nature.
The first "boattrip" is passing the "Ulfsfjorden" from "Breivikeidet" to "Svensby":

On the way to "Lyngseidet" you are passing these pretty landscapes.

On the way to "Olderdalen".

In "Storslett" a side trip to "Reisadalen" (valley) is really profitable.

Going on to the north the countryside is getting more and more meagre.

This direction sign was seen near the roadhouse "Fjellstua".

Where is Santa Claus?!? ;-)

The glacier "Oksfjordjokelen" should not be missed.
